Man charged with first-degree murder in New Hanover County

CASTLE HAYNE, NC (WWAY) — A 58-year-old man was booked into the New Hanover County Detention Facility on Monday on a first-degree murder charge, according to county jail records.

Timothy Antonio Jones, of Maury, was booked at 8:43 a.m. Monday, records show. He is being held without bond, and his case is pending trial, according to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional information.
