Man extradited to face Pender County arson charges

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man is due in court this morning in Pender County on charges including first degree arson.

Investigators say Dalton Flowers, 24, was brought back to Pender County from Florida to face charges in connection with a fire that happened in August of 2014. They say a house fire in the 200 block of Twin Oaks Drive in the Hampstead area was intentionally set.

There were no injuries in the fire. No word on Flowers’ connection to the residence.
