Man facing multiple weapons charges

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – An alleged argument in a taxi led to several charges.

New Hanover County deputies say Frank Pleasant Teague, III was a passenger when he began arguing with the driver, so the driver pulled over on I40 and started unloading Teaque’s luggage.

Deputies say that’s when Teague pointed a gun at the driver, who heard a gunshot, and then ran off.

They arrested Teague shortly after.

Teague’s charges include assault by pointing a gun,  carrying a concealed weapon and going armed to the terror of the public.
