Man wanted for indecent exposure in multiple Cape Fear counties arrested

SAMPSON COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man wanted for indecent exposure in multiple Cape Fear counties is being held by Sampson County authorities.

On February 19, the Pender County Sheriff’s Office received a report from victims who had witnessed a young black male exposing his genitalia in public at the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree retail store in Currie.

Detectives with the Special Victims Unit were able to identify Kelbie Deshaun Glover, 20, of Sampson County, as the suspect and a warrant for his arrest for two counts of Misdemeanor Indecent Exposure was issued.

SVU Detectives also learned that Glover is a suspect in an incident that occurred at the Dollar General retail store located in Currie on US Hwy. 421 on February 7. Detectives are interested in interviewing witnesses for that incident.

Glover has been charged with Indecent Exposure in Clinton that occurred in that jurisdiction and that charge is pending adjudication.

The Wilmington Police Department also had an outstanding warrant against Glover for Indecent Exposure for an incident that was reported on February 15.

Glover surrendered to Sampson County law enforcement on Saturday, February 24, and is being held at their facility with no bond.
