Man wanted in Leland armed robbery

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Police are looking for a Navassa man accused in an armed robbery.

Police said last Wednesday, Tykeam McNeil approached someone in a vehicle waiting on a friend and robbed that person of money, a cell phone and the car. There were no reported injuries, but investigators said the suspect had a firearm.

McNeil is facing charges including armed robbery, second degree kidnapping and larceny of a motor vehicle. Anyone with information is urged to contact Leland Police.
