Man wanted in New Hanover County woman’s death arrested in Columbus County

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Darius Tyshaun Williams for the homicide of Cynthia Danielle Allen.

According to a news release, Williams was arrested in Columbus County and is being transported to New Hanover County where he will be given a bond.

On Monday, deputes went to a home in the 5000 block of Bavarian Lane and found Allen dead inside the home.

Williams, 31, became a person of interest and was wanted for stalking, breaking and entering, and violating a domestic violence restraining order.

Williams is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
