Manatee caught on camera at St. James Plantation

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — With the end-of-summer heat in high-gear, it looks like even some manatees in the area are in need of a little hydration.

One of our viewers caught a marine mammal on camera at the St. James Plantation Marina Wednesday.

John Winter sent us video of the manatee taking a moment to enjoy some fresh water straight from a hose at the plantation.
