Manhole repairs might tie up traffic at UNCW

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Crews are working to replace a manhole at the intersection of MacMillan Avenue and Hamilton Drive on the UNCW campus.

The CFPUA found the failing manhole before sewage could overflow. However, because the repair is extensive, it might tie up traffic for up to five days.

The area right in front of the Quad Apartments will be closed for the repairs.
