Many celebrate National Donut Day on Pleasure Island

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — It’s not only Friday but also National Donut Day.

Pleasure Island has arguably the two best places to get you hands on one Britt’s Donuts and Wake N Bake. As you can imagine both have been very busy.

Wake N Bake is known for their specialty donuts while Britt’s has just the classic glazed.

Both have a national reputation. Britt’s has been around since the 1930s Wake N Bake has definitely made a name for themselves over the past few years.

Wake N Bake has a special going Friday so if you buy one you’ll get a cake funfetti donut for free.

Britt’s will be open until 10p.m. and Wake N Bake is open until 10 p.m. too or until they sell out.
