Meet Boomhauer: a 4-year-old pup with lots of energy!

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you love to be active and you’re looking to add a four-legged friend to your family, this week’s Pet Pal may be the perfect fit.

Meet Boomhauer. He is named after a character on “King of the Hill” and has lots of energy. He’s a Lab mix with a black and tan coat.

Boomhauer responds well to commands and is already crate trained and potty trained. He is up to date on all of his shots and ready to find a home!

If you’d like to meet him, head to New Hanover County Animal Services. County residents can adopt for $70. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to Noon.

As a reminder,  New Hanover County Animal Services now allows pet owners to pay for their pet registration online.
