Melind notches 100th career goal in Laney’s 12-11 win over Charlotte Catholic

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – The Laney boys lacrosse team picked up a 12-11 non-conference home win on Thursday against Charlotte Catholic.

After scoring the first goal of the match, Bucs senior Hutchins Melind scored in the 2nd quarter to tie the game at two. That was also the 100th goal of his career.

Laney’s win streak grows to 13 games as a result.
