Miniature horses loose at ILM
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two miniature horses were spotted at Wilmington International Airport Monday.
According to a spokesperson for the airport, miniature horses were presumed to have gotten away from their owners, possibly from a nearby property, and were seen around the airport property and neighboring roads.
The airport personnel and partners at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office helped keep them out of traffic.
The presumed owners had fed and gathered them up at Circle K, and they were led away.
