Missing 12-year-old girl may be with break-in suspect

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Investigators say a 12-year-old girl missing may be with a man wanted for a home break-in.

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says Tiffany Lynn Wilkins was last seen at her home on Delco Prosper Road in eastern Columbus County late Wednesday night. Deputies believe Wilkins with Franklin Ray Lewis, 20, of Leland. Lewis is wanted in connection for a break-in at a home on Greenhill Road in Brunswick County. They say a safe containing items including cash was taken from the home at some time during the afternoon or evening on Tuesday.
