Moores Creek National Battlefield to reopen

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – Moores Creek National Battlefield will reopen one month after Florence devastated park as it did all around Pender County.

Park officials announced on social media that beginning Monday, October 15, 2018, the park will resume normal operations.

The park’s Visitor Center, Administration Building, and Maintenance Building remained dry and did not receive any damage according to park officials.
