More than 250 drivers pay it forward at Dairy Queen drive-thru in Virginia
GRETNA, VA (WSET) — Patrons at a Dairy Queen in south-central Virginia were sharing acts of kindness in the drive-thru.
The general manager of the restaurant in Gretna said 256 drivers paid for the meal of the person behind them in the drive-thru between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, WSET reported.
“We’ve even had people that have gotten a large sweet tea, which is a buck and a half or something like that, and the people behind them might be ten or fifteen bucks, and they go ahead and pay for them!” the general manager said.
