More traffic delays expected around Wilmington this week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Parts of Wilmington experienced significant traffic delays earlier today as crews worked on sewer repairs.

The right lane of 16th Street between Market Street and Dock Street was closed for several hours. Traffic backed up for blocks due to the traffic shift.

More road repairs are scheduled for the rest of this week, with crews moving their efforts to Wooster Street and Dawson Street on Wednesday.
