Morocco arrests Belgian man linked to Paris attackers
RABAT, Morocco (AP) – Morocco’s Interior Ministry says that police have arrested a Belgian man of Moroccan descent who had a “direct relationship” to the attackers who killed 130 people around Paris on Nov. 13.
The ministry said in a statement that the man was arrested Monday near Casablanca, after traveling through Turkey, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
The statement didn’t identify the suspect or explain his suspected relationship to the attackers.
Several of the Paris attackers had Moroccan origins.
