Mother and son charged in connection to homicide case

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington police are charging a 16-year-old male with the murder that occurred last year.

According to WPD, Caleb Osborn died last October after being shot in the 4000 block of Wilshire Boulevard. His body was discovered in the grass outside of the nearby apartment buildings the next morning. 

This comes after WPD charged his mother, Danielle Billups, 34, with Felony Accessory After the Fact and is currently being held under a $75,000 secured bond at the NHSO Detention Center.
