Motorcycle accident temporarily closes traffic

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A motorcycle and car were involved in a wreck Friday evening in downtown Wilmington.

It happened at the intersection of 3rd and Market Street. The call came in to New Hanover County dispatch around 7:20 p.m.

The intersection was temporarily closed to traffic while investigators were on scene.

There is no official word yet on the condition of vehicle occupants involved in the wreck.
