Several men arrested, accused of selling drugs in Brunswick County

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Several men are behind bars after Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office say they were selling and delivering drugs in the county.

Following a month long investigation, agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit arrested Wilmington man Brandon McMillon Bragg Thursday evening on Highway 17 after they say he purchased drugs in the Little River area and crossing over into Brunswick County to sell.

Sheriff Ingram said, “I want to make it clear, we will not allow anyone to come into our county and attempt to sell this poison on our streets. Make no mistake, we are watching the county lines, both north and south; you will be caught and you will be arrested.”

Bragg, 38, is charged with two counts of PWIMSD heroin, sell/deliver heroin, PWIMSD cocaine, maintaining a vehicle used for keeping and selling heroin and cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bragg was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $250,000 bond.

In an unrelated incident, agents also arrested six on various drug charges Thursday evening.  The arrests follow a month long investigation stemming from community tips and a search of a residence on Rounding Run Road in Shallotte.

Douglas Taylor, 56, of Rounding Run Rd., is charged with PWIMSD heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $10,000 bond.

Kalamison Hill, 29, of Fontanna Road in Longs, SC, is charged with PWISD cocaine, PWIMSD SCH IV CS, and PWISD marijuana. He too was processed into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $30,000 bond.

Herschel Greene, 37, of Stoney Brook Drive, Conway, SC, is charged with PWISD cocaine, simple possession SCH II CS, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being detained in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond.

Lionel Shanell McNeil, 38, of Bear Street, Shallotte, is charged with PWISD cocaine, conspire sell/deliver cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He too is being detained in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under an $11,000 bond.

Archie Joseph Frasier, 48, of 31st Ave South, SC, is charged with conspire sell/deliver cocaine. He was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $2,500 bond.

George E. Clemmons, 50, of Holden Beach Rd., Supply, is charged with resisting a public officer. He was detained and later released from the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $1,000 bond.
