Murder victim’s friends protest killer’s early release
A group of people has come together to try and keep a murderer behind bars. Family and friends of Amy Frink have started an online petition to protest John Gamble’s early release. He is one of two men who kidnapped, raped and murdered the 18-year-old in 1994.
In 2000 a judge sentenced Gamble was sentenced to 30 years behind bars, but he could be out in a matter of days. So far about 250 people have signed the petition.
The group “Voices for Amy” also has a Facebook page. They hope to send the petition to the parole board by Thursday.
