NAACP requests town hall meeting with Congressman Rouzer

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Members of the New Hanover County NAACP joined Forward Together Moral Movement supporters, and others in the 7th Congressional District to visit Congressman David Rouzer’s office.

The group presented a letter outlining their 6 priorities for this legislative session and requested a meeting with Congressman Rouzer.

“As your constituents we ask you to hold a public town hall before the end of March at a time and location convenient for all those living in your district so we can continue this conversation,” New Hanover County NAACP President Deborah Dix Maxwell said.

Congressman Rouzer spoke with WWAY last Thursday about town halls, which he said he will hold later this spring. No word yet on when exactly that will be.
