Navassa hosting Homecoming Festival for holiday weekend
NAVASSA, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Navassa is in the middle of a three-day version if its “Homecoming Festival.”
This is the 44th year the festival is being held.
Dozens of families came out to the town’s Community Park on Thursday, July 3 for a Kids’ Block Party, which had live music and a vendor selling snow cones.
The festival continues on the 4th of July with a comedian and live band at the Community Center on Main Street starting at 7.
Saturday, July 5, will feature the Annual Parade & Fun in the Sun Time. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and starts from Navassa Road and Broadway, ending at the Community Center.
A festival will follow with food trucks, music, vendors, and family-friendly activities.
