Navassa’s Chucky Brown bleeds red & white, but his daughter is headed to UNC

RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — Chucky Brown spent most of his teenage years in the small town of Navassa in Brunswick County. Brown played college hoops at NC State. He went onto have a long NBA career. Brown actually played for 12 different NBA teams. That’s a record he shares with a handful of NBA veterans.

On Wednesday we found out Chucky’s oldest daughter will not follow in his footsteps. Izzy Brown has to decided to play college soccer at UNC Chapel Hill. Izzy is a rising sophomore at Green Hope High School. She chose the Tar Heels over the Wolfpack and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
