FORT FISHER, NC (WWAY) — NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher sends off Leia, Quincy and four offspring but announces two new otters.

From arriving as aquarium’s first Asian small-clawed otters, to becoming first-time parents and welcoming a second litter in less than a year, Leia and Quincy have captured the hearts of the community.

The parents and four offspring will be moving to a new home at the north Carolina zoo. The aquarium will host Farewell Furry Friends on Tuesday at 10 am at the Otters on the Edge habitat.

But there is also some happy news, the aquarium is introducing 6-year-old Milli and 4-year-old Binx who visitors will soon see at the otter habitat.
