NC State Parks conducting prescribed burn New Hanover County

KURE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The NC State Parks is scheduled to conduct a prescribed burn around the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher Tuesday afternoon.

According to the aquarium, the burn will take place at 2 p.m.

People in the area can expect smoke, fire, helicopters, forestry engines, personal on roadside, closed parking areas and bike trails and NCAFF.
