NC Zoo engravings on overpasses of future bypass
NORTH CAROLINA (WWAY) — If you are driving through Randolph County in central North Carolina, make sure to be on the lookout for exotic creatures.
No, not live ones – but the NCDOT is teaming up with the North Carolina Zoo to highlight their most iconic animal, the elephant. These engravings can be seen on the overpasses of the new U.S. 64 Asheboro Bypass.
The bypass will provide better access to the North Carolina Zoo and is expected to be complete this fall.
