NCWorks Career Center hosts ‘Navigating NCWorks’
SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County NCWorks will host “Navigating NCWorks” on Thursday.
This free hands-on event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the NCWorks Career Center located at 5300-7 Main Street in Shallotte.
The session is designed to help jobseekers make the most of NCWorks Online. A comprehensive career management system that connects people to thousands of statewide job openings and training programs.
Participants will receive step-by-step guidance on how to create an account, complete their profile, build a résumé and search and apply for jobs.
The event is part of Brunswick Count NCWorks’ ongoing effort to connect residents with employment and training opportunities through partnerships with Brunswick Community College and the Cape Fear Workforce Development Board.
