Neighbors cheer and clap for Annual Brunswick Forest Cardboard Boat Regatta

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — We told you about the ninth annual Brunswick Forest Cardboard Boat Race Regatta earlier this week.

Thursday night was the preview for neighbors to see the boats, and the race was Saturday afternoon.

Eight teams representing different neighborhoods throughout Brunswick Forest shoved off at Hammock Lake, followed by the awards ceremony.

Brunswick Forest residents were not lacking neighborhood pride or spirit.
