New All-Way Stop Signs coming to New Hanover County

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WWAY) — Two New Hanover County intersections will be converted to all-way stops this month to improve safety in the area.
The N.C. Department of Transportation will install stop signs and pavement markings at these two locations
Kerr Avenue where it intersects Farley Drive, and Princess Place Drive where it intersects Barclay Hills Drive.
The stop sign on Kerr Ave. is expected to be put in Mar. 12, while the stop sign on Princess Place is expected Mar. 16.
An all-way stop is a proven, cost-effective measure designed to enhance intersection safety and reduce the risk of serious crashes. For more information on the initiative, click here.
