New charges for Delco man involved with missing woman

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The suspect charged over the disappearance of a Columbus county woman now faces a new murder charge, for the death of the woman’s unborn child.
The prosecutors say that Lance Arrington Sandlin IV murdered Shanna Denise Perry who was pregnant at the time of death.
Perry was last seen alive on April 26th of last year.
In September, three people were arrested, Sandlin, his current wife Emily, and Lori flowers.
The Sandlins had been charged with murder and concealment of death, and flowers was also charged with accessory after the fact.
Only Lance Sandlin faces the newest charge.
