New driver license office to open in Leland on Monday, February 9th

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — If you need a new driver’s license and live in Brunswick County, you won’t have to travel too far, as a new driver’s license office will be opening in Leland.

The office will open on Monday, February 9th, with office hours from Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

This will be the second of 4 new offices opened throughout the state.

It will be located at 25 Old River Road at the NCDOT Belville Bridge Yard in a temporary modular unit, with the NCDMV searching for a permanent location.

Walk-in customers only will be served, with appointment scheduling beginning in March.
