New Hanover Community Endowment president & CEO resigns
NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — According to a press release, President and CEO of the New Hanover Community Endowment William Buster is stepping down from his position with the endowment.
The endowment’s board has appointed Executive Vice President Lakesha Mcday to handle his responsibilities while they conduct a search for a new CEO.
During his tenure, Buster oversaw the disbursement of $34 million in contributions to more than 140 nonprofits.
We reached out to the endowment for more information but were told that the endowment could not comment further at this time due to it being a “personnel matter.”
