New Hanover grad Kadeem Allen signs two-way deal wit New York Knicks

New Hanover High School graduate Kadeem Allen got the call he has been waiting for on Monday. Allen signed a two-way deal with the New York Knicks, joining the NBA team from their G-League affiliate.

Allen has spent this season playing on the Knicks G-League team Westchester. This season the 26-year-old has averaged 13.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists in just over 30 minutes a game.

Allen was originally drafted by the Boston Celtics back in 2017 in the second round.
