They were hoping that would change on Friday night in Pennsylvania, but the Harrisburg City Islanders and the Hammerheads ended up with a scoreless draw. The Ashley boys basketball team won't be competing in the event as the Screaming Eagles are in the middle of a coaching change. Former Hoggard pitcher picks up win for Sharks; Hornets unveil new uniforms

videoHoggard graduate Joe O'Donnell picked up his second win of the season on the mound on Thursday for the Wilmington Sharks. In front of one of the largest crowds of the season the Sharks beat Morehead City. Michael Jordan won't be suiting up for the Charlotte Hornets, but his team will at least look sharp. The Hornets unveiled their new uniforms on Thursday. In Pinehurst a 6th grader won over the crowd with an impressive round at the U.S. Open and a few licks of ice cream during her media conference.
