Durham protesters set fire outside city police headquarters

The group was protesting in part the deadly police shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota earlier this week, according to a tweet by the group durham.burn, which says it is a “community of anarchist and abolitionist” group.

Curfew lifted as peaceful protests continue in downtown Wilmington

George Floyd was laid to rest on Tuesday, but the Black Lives Matter movement lives on. Protesters were back out on the steps of city hall for day 11 of protesting, but this time with no curfew in place.
