Next up for UNCW: 4th ranked Louisville

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Louisville Cardinals and the UNCW Seahawks have a connection in men’s basketball. First of all, UNCW head coach Kevin Keatts used to be an assistant coach at Louisville. Secondly, the Seahawks will face Louisville later this week. The 4th ranked Cardinals will host UNCW on Sunday. “A lot of things that we do are things that I picked up from coach Pitino,” Kevin Keatts said. “It’s a combination of what I did at Hargrave when I was a head coach there and some of the things that we did at Louisville, which were very successful. Make no bones about it. Rick Pitino is one of the best in the business. If you can take one thing and try to get your kids to play as hard as his kids then you’re gonna be successful.”
