NHCO early voting sites open doors ahead of municipal elections
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY-TV) — As election day approaches, early voting sites opened their doors today on Thursday to voters. In New Hanover County, the Northeast Library on Military Cutoff saw many voters come through its doors.
Carolina Beach Town Hall, Cape Fear Community College and New Hanover County Senior Resource Center will also open for early voting on Oct. 25.
Kerry Krause has been a Wilmington resident for over eight years he said while the ballot is small, he hopes other residents will come out to vote.
“I would encourage everyone to vote and utilize your right to vote instead of sitting around doing nothing,” Krause said. “Usually at these elections, this kind of cycle has a small turnout and there should be many, many more.”
Early voting will be available until November 1. Election day on November 4.
