No injuries in early morning school bus accident

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office says a bus headed to Holly Shelter Middle School was involved in a minor accident this morning on Castle Hayne Road and Brentwood Drive.

No injuries were reported and EMS did not even respond to the accident. Some property damage was reported though.

From surveillance video from a nearby business, a truck was trying to turn left when the bus pulled out and the two vehicles collided. No word yet on whether charges will be filed.
