No injuries reported in early morning crash and fire in Boiling Spring Lakes

BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WWAY) — Firefighters responded to a vehicle rollover and fire early Wednesday morning, according to the Boiling Spring Lakes Fire Department.

It happened around 3 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found a single overturned vehicle fully engulfed in flames in a ditch. Fire crews began putting out the flames nd confirmed that no one was inside the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was located in a nearby passenger vehicle, awaiting emergency crews. The driver was evaluated but refused transport, according to fire officials.

Firefighters worked for about three hours to put out the flames.
