No reports of student injuries in Pender County school bus accident

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Pender County Schools says there have been no reports of student injuries after a school bus accident.

 Pender County Schools Bus 249 was involved in an accident during its afternoon route near the intersection of Highway 117 and Woodhaven Drive on Oct. 30.

Bus 249 was transporting students from Heide Trask High School at the time of the accident.

All students have been released from the scene. 

Bus 249 was able to be driven back to the Pender County Schools bus garage.
