North Carolina flu deaths reach 362, with seniors 65+ most affected at 264 fatalities

NORTH CAROLINA (WCTI) — The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services shows that NC Influenza deaths have reached a current total of 362 people this season.

All of the deaths so far this season have been adults, and the majority of these adult deaths have been 65 years and older at 264 deaths. There has also been 70 deaths reported between 56 and 64 years of age, and 24 reported deaths between the ages of 25 and 49.
