North Carolina Governor Josh Stein expected to visit Wilmington and surrounding areas
WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — North Carolina Governor, Josh Stein, is expected to visit the Wilmington area tomorrow, March 5, 2026.
Stein will be joined by the Secretary of Environmental Quality, Reid Wilson.
The pair will visit one of the region’s water treatment plants to make an announcement.
Last month, The Department of Environmental Quality announced $472 million dollars in new State Water Infrastructure Authority grants for drinking water and wastewater projects across the state.
Later on in the day, Stein and Wilson will visit one of the regions Department of Motor Vehicle locations as well.
