Northwest Police Department offers cash reward in missing persons case

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Northwest Police Department is asking for your help in a 2021 missing persons case.

Artis Russell Bryant was last seen on February 25, 2021 at his home in Northwest.

A family member said he was showing signs of dementia at the time of his disappearance.

He would now be 73-years-old.

Police and the CUE Center for Missing Persons are each offering a $5,000 reward for information that will lead to Bryant being found.

“That way maybe we can get some quick answers. We owe it to the family and friends of Mr. Bryant,” Lt. David Everett said.

Bryant’s son, Artis Hill, said his father’s disappearance has been taxing on the family.
