Novant Health holds topping out ceremony for Scotts Hill Medical Center
SCOTTS HILL, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health is raised the final beam on its new Scotts Hill Medical Center on Tuesday.
Leaders from Novant Health and Rodgers builders spoke on the progress of the new center.
The 250,000 sq ft. medical center will have 78 impatient beds and eight operating rooms.
Future Medical Center President Laurie Whalin said the construction has come a long way since its groundbreaking in 2022.
“The amount of progress they have made today to get to this final beam raising is just phenomenal,” Whalin said. “Roger’s Builders has just done phenomenal work. Their team has been out there and they have managed this project with expert-level expertise.”
The medical center is set for completion in 2026.
