Novant Health hosted community day at Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health hosted a community day event at the Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic on Wednesday.

The new facility is on Princess Place Drive. There were activities for kids and food and drinks. Novant Health team members provided health screenings on their community care cruiser.

Nicholas Green explains why these events are important.

“I’m never late to my appointment because it’s right around the corner. Being able to give them something that they didn’t have before is huge for this community.”

The clinic provides multiple services, including providing vaccines, annual wellness checks for adults and children, and treatment of minor injuries.
