Novant Health invites regional artists to submit work for Scotts Hill Medical Center
Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health is calling for regional artists to submit artwork for the future Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center, opening in 2026. Pieces selected will reflect the local culture and coastal landscapes of southeastern North Carolina, enhancing the experience for patients, visitors, and team members.

Timeline: Oct. 1 – Dec. 1, 2025

Eligibility: Open to artists 18+; preference for Pender County and New Hanover County residents

Submission: Email digital files + completed application to submissions@artswilmington.org

Notification: Artists notified by Jan. 31, 2026
Artwork Guidelines

Must be original and uplifting

Preferred themes: subtle abstracts, transitional landscapes, native botanicals, regional scenes

Restrictions: no recognizable individuals, religious/political imagery, nudity, pet portraits, or weapons
Selected art pieces will be reviewed by Novant Health and the Arts Council of Cape Fear. Final pieces are due May 2026. Printing/creation is the artist’s responsibility; installation and framing will be handled separately.
