Oak Island Fire Department receives new fire truck

OAK ISLAND (WWAY) — A new fire truck was delivered to the Oak Island Fire Department on Friday.

A new 2024 fire truck model drove down the street to the Oak Island fire Department. The new fire truck has up-to-date technology and is a duplicate of the department’s current trucks, just a newer model.

The fire department says they are thankful for their new truck as it will allow them to provide quicker and better coverage for the residents of Oak Island.
