Oak Island to host Earth Day Festival at Middleton Park

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — Oak Island Parks & Recreation will celebrate Earth Day with a community festival on Wednesday, April 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Middleton Park Complex.

The Earth Day Festival will feature a variety of educational and interactive experiences led by local organizations focused on environmental stewardship. Attendees can explore booths, watch demonstrations, and participate in hands-on activities designed to promote sustainability and outdoor engagement.

The family-friendly event will also include food trucks, eco-friendly vendors, and active play opportunities for all ages.
