Oak Island to host Earth Day Festival at Middleton Park Complex

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — Oak Island is inviting the community to celebrate Earth Day at Middleton Park Complex.

The Earth Day Festival is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, from 2 to 5 p.m at 4610 E. Dolphin Drive.

According to event organizers, the festival will feature educational and interactive opportunities provided by local organizations that work to make the Earth “the best it can be.”

Booths, demonstrations and active play opportunities will be available during the event. Food trucks and other eco-friendly organizations will also be on site.
